The Week that stuff happened
Yes Yes that's right, I finally got a job, and where might you ask? At the Cocoa Pesto Bistro in Windsor. My week started out wonderfully, Got a call Monday while at school, Had an interview Tuesday Morning, started Wednesday night. Cocoa Pesto is a more upscale restaraunt with delicious food, beautiful decor, and very friendly staff. I actually feel extremely positive after my first few shifts, It's a lot of small details that make the bistro look so wonderful and run so smoothly but as someone whose extremely OCD I already pay attention to very small details. The first night I worked I knew almost every table of people that were there for dinner, and knowing people that are regulars at the restaraunt appeared to be a very big THUMBS UP to my bosses, which deffinitely made me feel more comfortable. Oh and did i forget to mention the tips.... As a server you rarely leave a shift with less than 60$ in tips, how freaking AWESOME! I finally feel like my stress levels due to money will finally be gone! Another big plus, my wonderful grandmother in the States helped buy my flight in October to go spend time with my mom, dad, and Mitch. We're also going to take a mini trip to North Carolina while I'm there to see Sienna, Samara, Jeremy, and some of my old friends from school. Even more great news, One of my closest friends from Carolina had her baby boy last night, three weeks early but they're both doing wonderfully and are super healthy:)! I am so eager for these few weeks to go by so I can see everyone. Playing catch up on another year gone by in.... 3 days... YIKES! School has been going great, finally getting back into the swing of things, have all my stuff organized for due dates and assignments, and I'm starting my online courses- Intro to Physc & Children with Special Needs. I'm still super curious as to how everythings going to be set up, but I'll find out in less than 24 hours:)! For the past three weeks I've been going out on Thursday nights with my girls, and my god having a girls night makes me feel SO good, no stress just having a few drinks and dancing, which is always so much fun without... (NO offense)... Men. haha! The running has been ongoing and I'm starting to get quicker and better and my body has felt so much healthier. I haven't been as exhausted all the time and I haven't felt super lazy when I just go home and relax in sweats, it'awesome! I'm going to register for a 5k run in November, a wine run! Wine run meaning instead of water breaks, wine breaks:) So let's see how drunk I am at the finish line!
